Spindrift Playground

A standalone Max/MSP application that lets you apply sophisticated granular synthesis to an audio file. While playing around with Spindrift's parameters, you can record the output to a new soundfile. Spindrift Playground has some sophisticated spatialisation features, including the ability to work in quadraphonic or octophonic sound, and features automated parameter interpolation to create gradually tranforming sound clouds.
